Porter County Fair Commercial Exhibits and Space Rental Information

Thank you for your interest in our upcoming 2010 fair.  The Porter County Fair has two indoor exhibit areas.  The Commercial Building is an air conditioned, carpeted facility.  The Commercial Tent is an aluminum frame temporary building on a grass lawn.

The Porter County Fair is eleven days long.  However, the commercial exhibits will only be open 10 days.  The first Thursday is a discounted admission preview night and only the carnival and food vendors are open.  For security reasons we want all items moved into the exhibit areas before the fair opens at 4 on Thursday, so we can keep the doors closed.  We will allow set-up to continue, but doors will be locked. Only the commercial building will be open again Friday morning for additional move in time. 

Booth registration will be handled online.  There will be a 4% registration fee ($60 Limit) added to your registration.  This fee includes an online exhibitor map on the fair website that can show your logo, and allows attendees to search for you by company name and/or products.

Exhibit Dates:  Friday, July 23rd through Sunday, August 1st. 

2010 Prices: (Prices do not include a 4% registration fee)

Commercial Building:

Air Conditioned, Carpeted Facility
8 feet deep by 10 feet wide increments
Electric is available for all booths as needed. 
Pipe and drape are provided for the booths.
In-line booths are $400.00 per booth space
Corner booths (double exposure) are $500 per booth space.

Commercial Tent:

Booths are 10 wide.  Small booths are 8 deep and large are 20 deep. 

Small Inline booths are $300

Small Corner booths are $400

Large booths are $600. 

Porches are covered overhangs on both ends of the commercial tent.  They are visible 24 hours a day. 
They are excellent areas to display machinery, boats, cars, etc.  The porches cannot be locked up at night. 
Porch sizes and pricing as follows:

Porch 1&2:     20 X 49                    $3,000

Porch 3&4:     20 X 40                    $2,400

Porch 5:         16 X 35                    $1,600

Porch 6:         16 X 50                    $2,200

There is to be no subletting of space.  Utility hook-up fee is $40.00 for 110 Volt and $80.00 for 220 Volt. 

• NO FREE FOOD OR DRINK is to be given away in this rented space without approval from the Commercial Building Coordinators and/or fair board executive committee.
• Public address systems will not be permitted in booths.
• Material used for the booth construction will be at the expense of the lessee and removed no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2010.
• Booths must be uncovered and appear open during all hours the building is open.  It is highly encouraged, but not required that booths be manned at all times. 
• Remember that there will only be walk through security, and the Porter County Fair is not responsible for damages to an unmanned booth.
• All cancellations must be in writing to the Porter County Agricultural Society prior to June 18th, 2010.
• The Porter County Agricultural Society agrees to furnish the space contracted unless circumstances beyond their control prevent them form doing so.
• No alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the exhibit building or on the grounds during the fair.
• No smoking will be permitted in the exhibit building.
• No raffles are permitted on the fair grounds at any time. Free drawings are allowed, but no raffles where money is exchanged.
• No booths are to be closed or taken down prior to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug 1st.
