The Porter County Fair is dedicated to safety and a fun time for all. However sometimes the occasion may rise when parent and children may get seperated.
If that happens, you should go to Gate 1, which is the main entrance to the fair grounds or locate any Fire/EMS/Police official and report it.
Please provide clothing, height, wieght, age, and last known area they were at.
If you or someone else has an injury, stop any Firefighter, EMS, or Police Officer as soon as possible, or come to the Fire/EMS/Police Command Center located at the Main Gate. If nothing else, call 911 and help will arrive soon.
Please, while you are the fair, stop by and see us at the Fire Safety House located at the Main Gate for free handouts on safety.
Thank you on behalf of the Porter County Fire Association Washington Township Fire Department |

The Porter County Fair offers shuttles to help you get to your destination. This article explains all the locations and times that the shuttle will be running. Each stop has a bright yellow sign that indicates where you can get picked up by the shuttle. We hope that we have put these stops in key places on the grounds to help you get to where you are going. The shuttle runs on a pretty constant schedule of every 10 minutes or so. Just look for the big yellow signs!
